I'm HOME!

It's been a while... I love the familiarity of the place I grew up - it's just magical. Plus, mom has outdone herself on the decorating this year and the house itself is magical!

I'd forgotten how dark it is here, but the sun is coming up and the clear skies make the mountains and trees just look amazing.

Um, yup, so that's about it - time to bake; these cookies better turn out well because I'm missing the trip to Alyeska today =(
