today was good.

I got accepted to Grad School! It's here at Fox, the MAT program. I'm deferring acceptance until June of '08, because this girl needs a break from school and some summer adventures... but then I'll head back to this neck of the woods for a 3 semester program to get my license to be a middle and high school Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher.

today was good.

I watched a movie with Em. Hand lunch with a crazy-funny bunch. Martha and I went for a drive and ended up in Sherwood at an adorable little coffee shop that was playing Christian music on the radio. She exploded in the car- I loved it. Then we ate dinner with the cool people and laughed lots. Then I laid on the floor with my roommates. And I had ice cream with some of my residents. And Chelle shared her heart. And I watched a funny movie. And the boys came to my roommates' rescue. And they prayed for us. And they gave us good hugs.

today was good.

and I'm thankful for a good day.
but do you ever feel like you shouldn't have one- because others' aren't?

today was good.

but I realized that even though I'm over it... I need you.
but I think I'll continue to pretend I don't- it makes life that much less confusing for me.
so I'm sorry I'm selfish.

needing people is how we make the world go round...cuz if it was just us...well...life would be boring. and sad.
and sleeping in a bed, alone...would be painful.
