Slipping in and out of consciousness.
My necked is kinked from awkward sleeping positions.
I am in love with a book called Three Cups of Tea
I am also having a severe anxiety attack.

In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness.
Turn your ear to me,
come quickly to my rescue;
be my rock of refuge,
a strong fortress to save me.
Since you are my rock and my refuge,
for the sake of your name lead and
guide me.
Free me from the trap that is set for me,
for you are my refuge.
Into your hands I commit my spirit;
redeem me, O Lord, the God of truth.

Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am in
distress;
my eyes grow weak with sorrow,
my soul and body with grief.
My life is consumed by anguish
and my years by groaning;
my strength fails because of my
affliction,
and my bones grow weak.

But I trust in you, O Lord;
I say, "You are my God."
My times are in your hands;
deliver me...
Let your face shine on your servant;
save me in your unfailing love.
Let me not be put to shame, O Lord,
for I have cried out to you.
-Psalm 31

This is similar to how I felt yesterday while buzzing over my syllabi for this term. It's not that much in reality but all packed into a couple pages- it's so incredibly overwhelming. I had to remember to look at it one page at a time. One section, one class. Deconstruct it into something comprehensible to my easily overwhelmed mind.

I think that's what you need to do. Look at it one step at a time. Right now you have 17 days of class to focus on. Then you've got a couple other projects on a 'back burner.' Just like in cooking; you need to be aware of what's going on with the pot of noodles cooking on the back burner and the sauce bubbling away but the majority of your attention needs to be on the bread in the oven- that is the most delicate part of the meal, the most pressing issue to attend to. If you spend too much time watching the water boil, the bread will be burned, the noodles will be undercooked and you sauce will be scoured on the bottom of the pot.

Am I making any sense? lol

In short:
Breath. Breath. Breath. One step at a time. Breath. Step. Breath. Step.

You've dealt with situations like this before and you've dealt with them with your own perfectly marvelous flair- you will do it again.

You know I'm hear if you need me. XO ;)
